On Tuesday, September 30th, 3 Blue held a Zoom call with Molasha Primary and Post Primary School in North Central Zambia. The call was organised by Ms. Glynn with Tipperary native, Fr Tom Casey SMA Fathers, based in Molasha, Zambia. 3 Blue students created videos, submitted photographs and spoke live with students from Molasha Post-Primary School. Some areas covered included dance – both Irish and Zambian; native games – GAA and a Zambian game with stones; hair braiding and hairstyles in both countries and favourite school subjects. Although they were separated by 11,000 miles the students in both countries found common ground and managed to have fun and learn something new about each others’ cultures at the same time. Long live international understanding!!
