Write for Rights

On Wednesday, December 10th, some of our students took part in a ‘Write for Rights’ workshop to mark International Human Rights Day. In this workshop, students learned about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Amnesty International. They then wrote letters demanding justice for people, whose human rights are being violated. These letters were then posted to the relevant authorities. They also wrote letters of support to these people. The people who were highlighted by Amnesty International this year ranged from the indigenous Sámi community in Northern Norway to climate displaced people of Madagascar.
