Our 1st Year Boys Soccer Team were victorious in their West Leinster Div. 2 Final vs Killina on March 9th. We won 4-2 after being 2-0 down early on.
Jay Slevin captained our team and was man of the match in midfield scoring two goals, one long range free into the top corner and another cracker from outside the box. Andrew Feery scored our first goal on the day and was a threat all game on the wing. A James Murphy penalty made it 4-2 and he was excellent in midfield doing a man marking job on their number 10.
We now progress on to a Leinster Champions league 1/4 with a home draw against North East Leinster champions to come.
