    Our team of Darragh Hill, Amy Birch, Eoin Connolly & Aoife Mooney defeated Mercy College, Roscommon in their recent debate on “Global Commitments to End World Hunger are a Load of Hot Air”. Mercy Kilbeggan opposed the motion and earned 5 points in a unanimous win, meaning they defeated the opposition by between 11 and 19 marks.…

    On Friday, 12th December, our School of Sanctuary committee organised a movie day in the library. They watched the film ‘La Suprema’, about a teenage girl in Columbia, who dreams of becoming a boxer. A table quiz was held after the movie.
