Ghlac Rang 5ú bliain Ms Lynch páirt i bhfeachtas Gaeilge24 ar an Máirt 11ú Samhain. An aidhm an bhí acu ná Gaeilge amháin a labhairt ar feadh ceithre uair is fichead. Bhreathnaigh siad go hálainn ina gcuid t-léinte buí! Bhí go leor Gaeilge le cloisteáil timpeall na scoile le linn an lae. Ag deireadh an lae, bhain na daltaí sult as cupán tae a bhí tuillte go mór acu agus iad i mbun cluichí spraíúla. Maith sibh go léir agus ná déanaigí dearmad- Is fearr Gaeilge bhriste ná Béarla cliste!
On Tuesday 11th November, Ms Lynch’s 5th year Irish class took part in the Gaeilge24 campaign. Their aim was to speak only Irish for 24 hours. They looked lovely in their yellow t-shirts. Lots of Irish was heard around the school throughout the day. At the end of the day, students enjoyed a well-deserved cup of tea as they played some fun games. Well done to all and don’t forget- broken Irish is better than clever English!
