Aaron Kenny of Class 2 Green represented our school at the Leinster Cross Country Finals in Navan Adventure Centre on Friday, the 27th of February.
Aaron qualified for this race after finishing in 6th position in the North Leinster qualifier in the Phoenix Park on the 23rd of January.
100 athletes took part in the Leinster Final, with Aaron finished in a fantastic 11th place. The top 15 athletes qualified for the All Ireland Cross Country Finals.
Aaron will now represent our school at the All Ireland Cross Country Finals in Belfast on Saturday, the 7th of March. Well done Aaron, everyone at Mercy Kilbeggan is proud of you!
