Our girls were defeated in agonizing fashion, in overtime, by 1 point, on a scoreline of 19-18 against Scoil Mhuire Clane. It was a great display of Baskeball by both sides, but the final seven seconds of play just didn't go our way this time

Our second year girls semi-final will take place on Tuesday the 10th of April 2018.

So Close for our 2017/2018 Cadet Girls Basketball Team - Our Cadet girls Basketball team were beaten in their Leinster District final by 2 points (19-17) on December 5th 2017, after two last-gasp controversial free throws were knocked down by the opposition in the final seconds. Our girls played out a fantastic game as did the opposition Mountmellick CC, and both teams should be proud of their efforts. It is the second year in a row that this group of girls have met Mountmellick CC in a final, with both teams providing super entertainment on both occasions. The current score is 1-1. Round three anyone??
