Hurling/Camogie

2018/2019 Season

Hurling:

Our senior boys Hurling team were beaten by Kilcormac CC on Friday 16/11/18. Unfortunately, we now have been eliminated from the championship.

Hurling:

Our senior boys Hurling team were beaten in their opening fixture of the championship on 8/11/18 by Boyne C.S. We have work to do. 

Camogie: 

Our U16 Camogie team won their second round of the championship on 8/11/18 against Navan. 

Our U14 girls were beaten in their season opener in Navan on 19/10/18.

Our U16 Camogie team had a great first round win over Castlepollard on 2/10/18

Hurling: Our first year Hurling team had their first outing for Mercy Kilbeggan against neighbours St. Josephs Rochfortbridge on 28/09/18. In what was a well contested game, we lost out narrowly on the day. This game will be used to build on for future matches this season.

 

2017/2018 Season Below

Hurling: Our Juvenile Hurlers are now on 2 wins for 2 and have progressed to the knockout stages of competition after another good display on Friday April 13th. 

Hurling: Our Juvenile Boys Hurlers were victorious in their first outing of the year with a hard fought win over Castlepollard on Tuesday 13th March.

Camogie: Our first and second year girls who recently participated in a Juvenile Girls Camogie blitz at St. Lomans Mullingar.

Hurling: Our Juvenile hurling teams are ready for their first fixtures of the year, which are to commence mid-March. We also have five school representatives on the Westmeath Schools Juvenile boys hurling squad this year; David Maloney, Peter Dalton, Peter Clarke, Alan Conlon and Sean Jackson.

Hurling: Sixth year student Brian Keegan in action for our senior hurlers recently
